many changes had to do with the statue of liberty turning from green to copper. the statue of liberty was a physical change. all of the oxygen in the air this was a copper reaction. which in other words this forms a pinkish oxide. this ends up forming a black compound, the black compound then reacts in a moister. with co2 and sulfur dioxide and all this then, creates the green color of the statue. now i came up with this being a chemical change because a chemical change is when substances are broken up to make new ones. then when i used what i know i knew that all the chemicals that interacted with the statue, wound up changing its appearance.

ReplyDeleteWow Mekka you really did a fantastic job on your answer. You just taught me so much in one paragraph.Keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteGreat resource. You use key terms to explain your response, but it seems you start saying it is physical and then change to chemical. Check out: http://www.statueliberty.net/Statue-of-Liberty-Facts.html Fact #4. Remember capitalization and to reread for clarity. Nice job!
