Week5_Prompt#2

There are many differences between the atomic mas and atomic number of an element. One difference that I know for sure is that they represent different parts of an element. Like the atomic number represents the number of protons in the nucleus of an atom. The atomic mass represents the amount of protons and neutrons in the nucleus of an atom. So there for the atomic mass equals the total weigh of an atom. You usually find this by, adding the number of protons and neutrons. Lastly the atomic number is just the number of protons this is used to define the element being examined. These are the reasons of why the atomic mass and atomic number are not alike.
